The IABC Edmonton Volunteers portfolio provides communicators with opportunities for career and leadership development, networking and community involvement. It also allows volunteers to learn new skills and gain valuable experiences. Anyone with an interest in communications is welcome to sign up to become a volunteer.
Priority for long-term volunteer opportunities (more than three months) will be given to members. In the event that a volunteer position is not filled by an IABC member, the opportunity may be offered to non-members with the understanding that non-members will be required to become IABC members within three months of beginning a volunteer position.
Casual volunteer opportunities (less than three months) and one-off event support opportunities are open to both IABC members and non-members, however, priority will be given to members.
