Mentorship Program

Each month, we host a one-hour meeting to facilitate discussion and learning.

Who we're looking for

We are seeking mentors and mentees at any stage of their careers to become a part of our program. Mid-level to senior-level communicators that can add leadership, guidance and mentorship with IABC to their resumes, and students and junior practitioners can gain valuable industry insight from their experienced peers, all while networking with communications colleagues.

Here's what you can expect for the upcoming year:

Commitment
Communications professionals are busy people. That's why the program only takes up one hour per month of your time!

Structure
The one-hour meetings will often include goal setting and reviewing, skills work and professional development panels. We will build on, but not duplicate, professional development offered monthly from IABC Edmonton. Content will usually reflect IABC Edmonton's monthly themes.

Relationships
We work to pair mentees with mentors who share the same interests and knowledge paths. Tell us what you're passionate about in your application!
