Accreditation
Accreditation Candidates Wanted!
One of the great benefits of being a member of IABC is the opportunity to evaluate your practical and analytical skills through the accreditation process. And once achieved, the Accredited Business Communicator (ABC) designation provides a lasting measure of your professionalism and body of knowledge.
Accreditation offers communicators a way of demonstrating their ability to think and plan strategically and to successfully manage those skills essential to effective organizational communication, which could include internal communications, media relations, crisis communications and external relations
The process is challenging but, at the same time revealing, rewarding and well worth the effort. The ABC designation continues to grow in value, as more and more companies and placement firms look for the designation as a mark of quality and competence.

One of a kind

The program requires candidates to evaluate their work from a critical perspective and challenges them to demonstrate their knowledge in the important elements of communication planning, implementation, measurement and ethics.
How it works
You can enter the accreditation process at any time. The process includes an application, submission of a portfolio and a written and oral exam. Details on eligibility, fees, etc. are available on the IABC International website at http://www.iabc.com/abc
Although an international program, we offer full support including mentors to local candidates to help you prepare and succeed.
